On Jan. 3, 2025, we announced the winners of the 2024 TIAA Paul A. Samuelson Award for Outstanding Scholarly Writing on Lifelong Financial Security. This year the judges chose Jonathan A. Parker (MIT), Antoinette Schoar (MIT), and Yang Sun (Brandeis University) for their paper “Retail Financial Innovation and Stock Market Dynamics: The Case of Target Date FundsOpens in a new window” published in The Journal of Finance, Vol. LXXVIII, No. 5, October 2023.
