Julie R. Agnew is the Richard C. Kraemer professor of business at the College of William and Mary’s Raymond A. Mason School of Business. Her research and consulting focus on the interplay between financial literacy and behavioral finance with an emphasis on the financial decisions individuals make concerning their retirement plans.

While at William and Mary, Agnew has served as the inaugural director of the Boehly Center for Excellence in Finance and co-director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Behavioral Finance Research. A former Fulbright Scholar to Singapore, she has co-authored a book examining business opportunities in Asia. She earned her Ph.D. in finance from Boston College and B.A. in economics from William and Mary.
